UFIP ART V GONGS
ART V is a domed gong with a flat, unhammered middle ring. This gong has a clear
Indonesion-style humm dome-tone, with harmonic washes that can be played from the
middle ring. A ~careful~ tap of the bottom rim brings a light subharmonic to the sound. Like
ARTIV, this gong can be explosive if coaxed.
ARTV sizes 20" thru 28" - B12 bronze: deep tones, tonalities, vibrant, accented to explosive.
ARTV sizes 32" to 40" brass: deep humm, warm harmonics, explosive, big sound.
