| UFIP ART is a series of 5 Gong designs, available in 6 sizes, from 20" to 40". Within a given design, each size has unique sound properties not shared with the other sizes of the same design. (!) UFIP ART is 30 gongs and 30 sounds. ART I Tams are shaped and sound in a way that is similar to the cast Targo designs with regard to hammering, tuning and response. ART II - V gongs offer specialized tones within a wide and specific harmonic range. ART Gong sizes 20" thru 28" are made of plate B12 Bronze. B12 has a resilience that is robust sounding, these gongs easily hold a strong low pitch with clear and detailed harmonics. ART Gong sizes 32" to 50" are made of plate Brass. Brass in these diameters presents noticeable mass with a warm feeling, pleasant textural softness and smoothly integrated Harmonics. |
