Sonor Extended Range Vibraphone

I consulted on the production of this Vibraphone in 1995, resulting in several key features including a 1/4
Octave extended range - stretching 1/2 step lower than a standard vibes, down to "E". Similarly we extended
the upper range a whole step up the high "G". The purpose for this is being able to play more easily with
guitar players, and to open up the sharp keys for greater flexibility on the vibes. The bars are modeled after
the Musser design, and tuned to A=442 Hz.and confirmed to be of Deagan Alloy. Features include variable
speed motor and height-adustable frame. It sounds fabulous, balanced and smooth. Bars and resonators in
new condition, frame in great condition, pedal in newly used condition. Instrument never ever gigged, and
has been in (3) locations in the US since I received it new.
